Supervisor - Reservations
We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a Restaurant AM Supervisor/Reservations. As the Part-Time Restaurant AM Supervisor/Reservations, you will play a key role in managing our reservation operations and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant reservations department, ensuring smooth and efficient processes
- Manage reservation systems to ensure accurate and timely bookings, optimizing table availability and guest flow
- Coordinate with the host/hostess team to allocate seating and manage reservations effectively
- Train and mentor reservation agents, providing guidance and support as needed
- Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolutions
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless communication and guest satisfaction
- Maintain knowledge of restaurant offerings, including menus, specials, and promotions, to effectively assist guests and answer inquiries
- Monitor and analyze reservation trends, making recommendations for improvements and revenue optimization
- Implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty, actively seeking feedback and addressing concerns
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continuously improve reservation processes and customer service
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant industry, preferably in reservations or front-of-house operations
- Strong knowledge of reservation systems and processes
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including reservation management systems
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
