Laundry Attendant

Job Description:

The Rooms Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and supply of all linens, towels, and other guest laundry items at The Ballantyne Hotel. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining inventory, responding to guest requests, and maintaining a clean and organized laundry room.

Responsibilities:

• Operate laundry machines to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and other guest laundry items.
• Sort laundry by color and fabric type.
• Inspect and identify damaged or stained items and remove them from circulation.
• Keep inventory of linen supplies and notify management when restocking is necessary.
• Respond to guest requests for additional linens or laundry services.
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry room.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 50 lbs).
• Strong communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
