Job Summary As a Line Cook at Morada Bay Beach Cafe, you'll be a crucial part of our kitchen team, contributing to the culinary excellence that our guests have come to expect. This role involves preparing innovative and eclectic Caribbean and American cuisine, using the freshest local seafood and produce. You'll be working in a dynamic environment that combines the laid-back lifestyle of the Florida Keys with the beauty of Islamorada.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean kitchen area in accordance with Board of Health standards.
- Follow precise directions for food preparation to ensure consistent quality and presentation.
- Strive for perfection in food preparation, focusing on uniformity in presentation and efficient waste management.
- Present a clean and professional appearance at all times.
- Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor, even under pressure.
- Communicate effectively in English and work well under pressure.
Education
- 1-2 years of experience in a culinary role.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
