Café Manager (PM)
Compensation: 60,000-65,000

Job Overview:
Benne's by Peninsula Grill is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Café Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service at our vibrant café. As Manager at Bennes's, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of food quality, staff management, and guest satisfaction. If you have a passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and enjoy leading a dynamic team, this position is perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the daily operations of the café, ensuring smooth and efficient service during PM shifts.
- Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service
- Assist in the resolution of customer issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Manage and support café staff, including baristas, servers, and bartenders in their daily tasks.
- Assist Director of Food & Beverage with scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Ensure the consistency of food and beverage quality in line with café standards, monitoring food safety and hygiene practices.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, including opening and closing tills, processing payments, and managing daily reports.
- Collaborate with the management team to implement promotional activities and maintain the café’s visibility within the community.
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Previous experience in a management or supervisory role within the café, restaurant, or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques, especially coffee and specialty drinks.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and proficiency in cash handling.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
