Job Summary

We are seeking an HR Generalist with a forte in recruitment and a knack for managing international workforce onboarding processes. This role is pivotal to our mission of maintaining our four-diamond status by ensuring the best talent is selected, onboarded, and integrated into our unique resort culture. Core Responsibilities

• Manage the entire recruitment process, from creating job requisitions to overseeing that managers effectively contact, interview, and review resumes.
• Process and handle J1 students and H2B workers, ensuring a smooth integration into our team.
• Collaborate with international worker providers, coordinating interviews and handling arrivals, including processing paperwork and I-9 verification.
• Manage the Workers Comp process
• Manage Leave of Absence situations
• Assist with Investigations
• Other HR duties as needed in a small HR Department - we basically all pitch in. 

Essential Skills

• Demonstrated experience or exposure to handling J1 and H2B workers.
• Ability to be confidential, measured, and even tempered.
• Enthusiasm to get out of the office, walk around and visit with employees and managers.
• Willingness to check emails and respond as-need in evening and weekends.
• Work occasional Saturdays as-needed based on HR situations
• Proven expertise in recruitment and talent acquisition, particularly using ADP Recruitment Manager.
• Ability to oversee the recruitment lifecycle, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 3 years of progressive HR management experience, with a focus on recruitment.
• Familiarity with the processing of J1 and H2B workers or eagerness to learn.
• Hospitality or HR-related degree or professional certification (preferred).
• Bilingual abilities in Spanish and/or Creole.
• Strong computer literacy and data entry skills - specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to live in the Florida Keys (make sure you research potential accommodation possibilities before applying)
