Job Overview:  

As a Rooms Laundry Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our hotel's laundry operations. Your primary responsibility will be to process and maintain all linens, towels, and other laundry items used throughout the hotel.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Laundry Processing:
  • Sort and classify soiled laundry according to fabric type and stain level. 
  • Operate industrial washing machines and dryers, ensuring proper settings and detergent usage. 
  • Inspect laundered items for stains, tears, or other damage. 
  • Fold and press linens and towels according to hotel standards. 
  • Stock linen closets and storage areas with clean, folded items. 
  • Maintenance:
  • Clean and maintain laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and folding machines. 
  • Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and report any shortages. 
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized laundry room. 
  • Guest Satisfaction: 
  • Handle guest laundry requests promptly and efficiently. 
  • Ensure all laundry items are returned to guest rooms in a timely manner. 

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role preferred. 
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy loads. 
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
