The Luxury Collection Hotel Manhattan Midtown (On-Site)

Reports To: General Manager

Role Overview

The Luxury Collection Hotel Manhattan Midtown is seeking a strategic, analytical, and results-driven Director of Revenue Management to lead total revenue optimization at our Luxury Collection property in Midtown Manhattan.

As a key member of the Executive Committee, this leader is responsible for maximizing profitability through effective pricing, forecasting, distribution, and inventory strategies. The ideal candidate brings expertise in luxury or lifestyle hospitality, strong command of Marriott systems, and deep knowledge of the New York City market landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Strategy & Optimization

  • Develop and oversee comprehensive revenue strategies that maximize room revenue, profitability, and total hotel performance.
  • Utilize market intelligence, competitive insights, and demand patterns to set optimized pricing strategies for rooms and ancillary revenue streams.

Inventory & Yield Management

  • Manage all aspects of inventory controls, rate restrictions, and yield tactics to optimize occupancy and channel mix.
  • Conduct displacement analyses and guide strategic decisions for transient and group business balance.

Distribution Channel Performance

  • Lead strategy and optimization across all distribution channels, including OTAs, GDS, brand.com, and direct bookings.
  • Ensure channel profitability and alignment with overall commercial strategy.

Forecasting & Budget Leadership

  • Produce accurate short-term and long-range forecasts, annual budgets, and performance outlooks.
  • Continuously monitor results and adjust strategies to achieve or exceed revenue targets.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead, coach, and develop the revenue management team, fostering a culture of high performance and analytical excellence.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations, ensuring alignment across all commercial areas.
  • Actively participate in Executive Committee meetings, contributing insights to hotel-wide strategic planning.

Analytics & Business Intelligence

  • Leverage revenue management systems, BI tools, and market data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Present clear, data-driven recommendations to senior hotel leadership and ownership.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive revenue management experience in full-service luxury or lifestyle hotels
  • 3+ years working with Marriott systems, preferably in the New York City market
  • OneYield certification required
  • Proven ability to increase revenue, improve market share, and drive profitability
  • Deep understanding of NYC market dynamics, segmentation, and demand drivers
  • Advanced proficiency with revenue management systems, BI platforms, and analytical tools
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capability
