Job Description

Job Overview:

As a Houseperson, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our property's public and private spaces. Your attention to detail and commitment to creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests will contribute to the overall success of our esteemed Relais & Châteaux property.

Responsibilities:

1. Housekeeping Support: Assist the housekeeping team in maintaining cleanliness in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

2. 

   Linen and Supplies: Ensure the timely delivery of clean linens, towels, and amenities to designated areas.

3. Public Area Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of public spaces, including lounges, lobbies, and corridors.

4. Event Support: Set up and break down event spaces, collaborating with the events team to ensure seamless execution.

5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to provide support as needed.

6. 

   Guest Interaction: Be responsive to guest requests and assist with any additional requirements to enhance their stay.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a housekeeping or houseperson role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy items, as well as stand and walk for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and various shifts as needed.
