Mechanic Engineer
Compensation: $32.63 to $43.51 per hour
Job Description

As a Maintenance Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. Your primary responsibility is to perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting, to maintain a safe, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing environment for our guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preventative Maintenance:
- Conduct regular inspections of all hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing repairs, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and HVAC system maintenance.
- Implement a preventative maintenance schedule to minimize breakdowns and equipment failures.
- Repair and Troubleshooting:
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
- Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, including HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, electrical components, and other mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot issues with building systems and identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including OSHA standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Guest Satisfaction:
- Interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Resolve guest complaints and concerns related to maintenance issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Contribute to a positive guest experience by ensuring a well-maintained and comfortable environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Relevant trade certifications or licenses (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical) preferred.
