Pool Server - Part-Time

Department: Food & Beverage

Reports To: Restaurant Manager

Job Overview:

As a Server you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests. You will be responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Guest Service:

o Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.

o Answer guest questions about the menu, specials, and beverage offerings.

o Take accurate food and beverage orders.

o Serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.

o Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests.

o Resolve guest complaints and issues in a courteous and timely manner.

Operations:

o Set up and maintain dining areas, including table settings and cleanliness.

o Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures.

o Process payments accurately and efficiently.

o Adhere to all restaurant policies and procedures.

o Assist with side work tasks, such as cleaning, stocking, and preparing beverages.

Teamwork:

o Work effectively with other team members, including the kitchen staff and bartenders.

o Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and guests.

o Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a server in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry trays of food and beverages.
  • Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain one).
