Job Overview:

The Spa Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel’s spa operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maximizing profitability. This role requires a strong understanding of spa management, a passion for wellness, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.

Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

o Oversee daily spa operations, including scheduling, staffing, and inventory management.

o Develop and implement effective operational procedures and policies.

o Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.

o Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards.

Team Leadership:

o Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing spa team.

o Foster a positive and supportive work environment.

o Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to team members.

o Conduct regular performance reviews and address performance issues promptly.

Guest Experience:

o Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by delivering personalized and attentive service.

o Resolve guest complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.

o Develop and implement guest retention strategies, such as loyalty programs and special promotions.

Financial Performance:

o Develop and implement annual budgets and forecasts.

o Monitor and control expenses to maximize profitability.

o Analyze financial reports to identify trends and opportunities.

Marketing and Sales:

o Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies to attract new guests and retain existing ones.

o Collaborate with the hotel’s sales team to generate spa revenue through group bookings and corporate partnerships.

  • Product and Service Development:
  • o Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

    o Introduce new treatments, products, and services to enhance the spa experience.

    o Partner with suppliers to negotiate favorable pricing and terms.

    Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Spa Director or similar role in a luxury hotel or spa.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of spa operations, including treatments, products, and protocols.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Certification in spa management or a related field preferred.
